The economy of the city is still based on engineering, including a large aerospace industry, as well as the service sector. The Sunbeam motor car, built in Wolverhampton, became the first vehicle to hit 200mph when it broke the land speed record in 1927 Wolverhampton is a city and metropolitan borough in the West Midlands. It is the 12th largest city in England outside London. People from Wolverhampton are known as Wulfrunians. Wolverhampton was developed into a rich city during the Victorian period because the industries were flourished in the city. The area was filled with high amount of iron and coal deposits Wolverhampton became the major site for immigration because of the Irish Potato famine. The people from Ireland and Wales moved to the city in 19th century due to the plight. The present house was built at the end of the 15th century, and is the oldest building in Wolverhampton after St. Peter's Church."
