The colonnaded Royal Pump Rooms, a 19th-century bathhouse, now houses the Leamington Spa Art Gallery. It includes a local history gallery or cooling room. Jephson Gardens is a park with formal flowerbeds and a glasshouse for tropical plants and Birds. Royal Leamington Spa is a beautiful and prosperous town located in Warwickshire. The town , originally known as Leamington Priors was a tiny village until about 1800. The value of the mineral springs was known in the middle ages, but it was not until 1784 that the small village began rediscovering its saline springs and started building baths around them. Inside the Jephson Gardens park there is a memorial fountain commemorating seven members of the Free Czechoslovak Army. This army was based in Leamington during the Second World War after its home country was occupied by the Nazis. Leamington Spa is surrounded by the rolling Warwickshire countryside and full of varied shops, classic restaurants, grand boulevards and whitewashed Regency buildings.
